I personally love her new songs and like the direction she's taking with her album, even if it is a little different from what we're used to. Well, if you've been listening to Sara's new songs recently, you'll notice three songs from her new album, 'The Blessed Unrest', is out! They are: Brave, Manhattan, and Root Down. Now that the song and album cover is released, I don't think there's much she can do about the unoriginality, especially because Roar is so popular. I personally think that Katy didn't mean to make the songs sound so similar, she just listened to Brave one too many times and unknowingly created a similar-sounding song. After Roar was released, she got a lot of hate, and Sara tried to stop it through Twitter, but to no effect. When Brave was released as a single, Katy Tweeted about how much she loved the song, confirming she actually knew about the song and probably listened to it more than once. Coincidences do happen, and almost no song is completely original-music has existed too long for that. All the rumors and the hate flying around may not have happened if Katy hadn't posted a Tweet when Brave came out. Of course, Roar is a lot more popular, but critics are saying they prefer Brave over Roar. A lot of people are accusing Katy for copying 'Brave', because the songs have the same general percussion, a similar chorus, and the same message. Okay, so as you may have heard, there's been some buzz going on with Sara's 'Brave' and Katy Perry's song 'Roar'.
